Award winning Vanilla Blush founder and CEO, Nicola Dames, has confirmed that she and her husband have rejected "life changing sums of money", which would have meant that "we could live the rest of our lives on the beach".

Launched in 2008 on ITV's popular 'This Morning Show', Vanilla Blush has grown from a modest home run company to becoming the leading medical fashion brand for people with colostomies, ileostomies and hernias.

Emphasising that Vanilla Blush, which supplies across the UK as well eight European countries, is continuing to grow beyond its original market, Nicola did admit to being tempted by the offer. However, when it came to making the final decision, the international business woman realised that her brand's mission and "hard core" financial projections meant too much to simply "grab the cash and run".

Nicola said: "Myself and my husband, Simon, have worked extremely hard in creating a really innovstive company. Since then we have grown every year. And just as importantly, we have nurturted a great team, one in which we all play a part."

"Our plans over the next three, five and ten years are so big, which include more of Europe and beyond, that I could not simply give up such a bright business future."
