UK Labour politician, Thomas Rannachan, has taken up a Non-Executive Directorship with award winning Vanilla Blush.

The Glasgow-based global-brand appointed Rannachan to the board as head of internal Operastions.

Commenting on his new role, Rannachan said: I am dleighted to have been appointed a Non-Executive Director of Vanilla Blush, a company which puts people before profits.

"Vanilla BLush is a global brand but its heart is very much in the east end of Glasgow. All the employees in its two stores live in the east end, and at the same time we have people applying from abroad trying to get work."

Former MP and Scottish Parliament's Labour Party spokesperson for Health, Anas Sarwar MSP, said: "It is great news to hear that Vanilla Blush has jsut appointed its first new Non-Executive Director, Thomas Rannachan.

"It is a sign of the continued success and growth of a company that bridges people with profit, private enterprise with public service, ethical business with good business."
