This item is designed, higher in the waist, to cover your stoma appliance. We have done this by lengthening the legs. These shorts are not just used for swimming, but can take you to lunch, or dinner by theming it with a linen shirt, or t-shirt, while on holiday or working in the garden. 

The sizing, is true to size, however please remember the product sits above your hips, please factor in gut size. If for example you wear a 34 inch trouser, but your stoma bag sits higher than the waist band of the trousers, you will need to size to a 36 in this range, sometimes even a 38 depending if you also have a hernia.
